            How do I apply restrictions on the Restriction Management screen?

            Note: If your Avvio Booking Engine is integrated with a PMS / Channel Manager, you should update the restriction for a particular day or room rate via that system (if supported).

            Otherwise you can do it manually via the below option on the Avvio booking engine itself.


            You can apply restrictions at House Level, Room Level, Rate Level and Room X Rate Level. To place a restriction follow the below steps:


            1. Go into the Booking Engine Service


            2. Under Daily Inventory click "Restriction Management"


            3. Select the Restriction you wish to apply and the level (House, Rate, Room or Rate X Room) you wish to apply it on.


            4. Once you have the restriction selected, please select the date on the calendar that you wish to apply it to. Before you have added the restriction it will appear like the below image.


            After you have added the restriction it will appear like the below image you will be able to see the restriction on the box if it is set at House Level.


            If the restriction isn't set at House Level, but is set at another level (i.e. Rate, Room or Rate x Room),  the box will appear shaded(blue) compared to the other dates when no restriction is applied.

            Once you have the restriction added you must Save Changes before the restrictions are applied.
