What is the difference between a Promo Code and a Discount Code

Promo Codes and Discount Codes are setup in similar ways but they do very different things:

Promo codes are used to access hidden rates. A promo code can only be used at the start of the booking process.

Discount codes are used to apply a discount policy (eg 10%) to an existing rate. Discounts can be applied both at the start and later on during the process.
